English 1 is an introductory course designed for students who are beginning their study of the English language at the university level. The course focuses on developing the four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will learn essential grammar structures, acquire basic vocabulary for everyday communication, and practice simple conversations in academic and social contexts. By the end of the course, students are expected to understand and use familiar expressions, introduce themselves and others, ask and answer basic questions, and read and write short, simple texts.
